Abstracts FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

How will my abstract, poster, and oral presentations be showcased?

All accepted abstracts will be published in the abstract book and may be considered for proceedings publications. Posters and recordings of oral presentations will be available on our website and YouTube channel. All abstracts will be released under the CC BY 4.0 license.

Are abstract reviews blinded?

Abstract reviews will be double-blinded, which means that all information is anonymized between authors and reviewers.

Will I get feedback on my abstract?

We will try our best to provide feedback to all abstract submissions, regardless of whether they are accepted or not.

Whom can I reach out to in case of any queries regarding the abstract submission?

Email info@neuronovember.org with any questions.

What is the submission deadline?

The submission deadline is August 31st at 11:59 pm Eastern Time.

For an experimental study, do all results need to be completed by the time of abstract submission?

An early form of results should be included in the abstract. You may wish to consider delaying your submission to late August to include the most comprehensive results in the submission. We understand that results may continue to evolve between the time of submission and the conference date. For non-experimental projects, all results must be completed by the time of abstract submission.

How many abstracts can I submit?

There is no limit on the number of abstracts you can submit and/or be listed as an author for.

Are abstracts reviewed on a rolling basis?

Abstracts will NOT be reviewed on a rolling basis. The submission date has no effect on your acceptance status.

I have several co-authors for my abstract. Who is responsible for submitting the abstract and paying the fee?

The presenting author is responsible for submission and payment. The payment fee’s professional level category (e.g. high school vs. college) will be determined based on the presenting author’s current educational/employment status. Additionally, the payment fee according to country (e.g. low/middle-income vs. high-income country) will be determined based on the presenting author’s current country of residence. Lastly, even when there are multiple co-authors, the overall abstract only needs to be submitted once.

Can I get a refund for my abstract submission?

We are unable to provide refunds of any kind, so please be cautious when entering information into our website’s payment portal.

Can I pay for the abstract submission through another modality?

We are only able to accommodate the payment methods made available on our website for logistical reasons across a large volume of submissions. Thank you for your understanding.
